Tonight 02:30
Come on, come on, oh won't you come along, oh won't you be with me tonight. We could find our friends and some cars or maybe even start a fight. We'll run with the devil cause the devil don't care if we stay out all night. Cause we're in charge cruising the boulevard, chasing shooting stars in the sky. The night time's when the monsters come out an rock n roll with you. So we'll show them how to play Surfin' USA and sing along to Blue Sued Shoes. So come on.

Live Again 02:47
I've been dreaming about the time when you turned into a monster right before my eyes. And I don't think I'll fall in love again. I've been dreaming about the time when you destroyed the city and lit up the whole sky. I don't think I'll fall in love again. I've been dreaming about the time when you devoured me in only just one bite. I don't think I'll fall in love again. I don't think I'll ever love again. I don't think I'll ever live again.

Decapitated 01:56
I use to bring her flowers every saturday night. I really loved my girl and I knew how to treat her right. I'd take her out to dinner or maybe to a show. We would always cause ruckus everywhere we'd go. But late one evening things got out of hand and don't you see. My baby baby she decapitated me! The evening it began just like any other time. I picked her up at 8 and we were on the town by 9. We met up with some friends with a new girl in the pack who started flirting with me, yeah, I guess I flirted back. But when my girl found out she blew her top now don't you see. My baby baby she decapitated me! I know what it feels like girl yeah to really loose your mind. Except in a different way then you did because you cut off my head. Why would you do that? You've really gone and done it now. Now she brings me flowers every saturday night. My body lays in the graveyard but my head's out of sight. Know one will ever find it, they don't know that she's the one. She keeps it locked away inside her personal collection. So watch out all you fellas, don't you drive your girl crazy. Cause my baby baby she decapitated me!
4.
I'll no longer hold your hand. You wont hear me call out your name. Please don't say that I'm your man. I'm through playing this game. (won't hold your hand, I'm not your man, forget the game) I won't be holding you close or kissing you so soft. You know that this is what you've chose and I have paid the cost. (won't hold you close, it's what you've chose, it's mighty costly) I don't love you anymore. They took my body to the morgue. And the last time you see me will be at the funeral home. Well you say you love me now, but I'm buried in the ground. I'm gone baby (yeah yeah yeah) I'm dead gone. We never had a last goodbye. I didn't mean to make you cry. That smoking gun you held so tight ended our love without a fight. (no last goodbye, cry baby cry, you took my life) I don't love you anymore. They took my body to the morgue. And the last time you see me will be at the funeral home. Well you say you love me now, but I'm buried in the ground. I'm gone baby (yeah yeah yeah) I'm dead gone. I'm gone sugar (yeah yeah yeah) I'm dead gone.
5.
Just for tonight no rules apply. When the suns gone and darkness fills the sky. Chaos will reign and people will die. But just for tonight you will be mine. Beasts will devour everything they see. The air will be poison, blood will fill the streets. The dead will walk, we'll run for our lives. But just for tonight you will be mine. Cities will burn and mountains will fall. The ocean will rise and bury us all. But before we're crushed or even if we survive, just for tonight you will be mine.

about

Live Again music video - www.youtube.com/watch?v=l4K0IxzO8vA

"...ventures into sonic terrain reminiscent of mucky, simple, fun San Francisco Bay Area rock (think Fresh & Onlys), then dives head first into more bluesy and driven rock like Hanni el Khatib and finally emerges to dab a little indie-pop punk a la Smoking Popes on their palate to round out their sound." -City Weekly

"Sometimes my job is really easy and I find music like this. Rise From Your Grave is an album that sounds like as if a 1960′s girl group collaborated with some 1970′s punks. Secret Abilities are the result of that collaboration and it’s painfully beautiful. There is something that happens when you mix punk and pop that just melts your heart and soothes your soul. Thats something I’m always ready for." -Leah Lovecat @ dingusonmusic.com

"Foodies looking to soundtrack a cocktail party should ignore Secret Abilities. If the band’s sound were edible, this would be the recipe: 2 bowls hot-dog-flecked mac & cheese, 1 handful candy corn and 1 cup Kool-Aid. The nerdy, fuzzed-out, goofball pop punk captured on their newest record conjures walking corpses and sci-fi monsters, and owes as much to the Modern Lovers as to the Groovie Ghoulies. Just check out lead singer Davin Abegg’s silver-sparkle and sunburst-yellow guitar: This is music for good, silly times." -Benjamin Bombard

"Rise From Your Grave" by Secret Abilities is a Gothic Pop album.
The sound of songs is a grungy garage / upbeat punk sound. Tracks tend to be noisy and distorted with rapid-fire lyrics and an all-around fun and energetic production atmosphere. Thematically songs are very classic horror movie / funny tongue in cheek macabre. The whole thing ends up being a type of black humor twist on the traditional "love song" song structure." -examiner.com

"...If Joey Ramone wrote a blues song for The Cramps, it might sound something like “Decapitated.” Secret Abilities’ lead singer, Davin Abegg, even adds a few inhaled gasps in the style of Cramps vocalist Lux Interior between lyrics...The feminine sound of Tink Safeer’s backing vocals gives the already danceable (sound) a dash of ’60s pop." -S.L.U.G.
